The "BTF Grill Hoop Kit for Jeep TJ/YJ" was designed with the DIY fabricator in mind. A welder is required to complete the installation. The grill hoop welds into place where the stock sway bar mounts are located on the top side of the TJ frame. When installing the kit here at BTF we normally weld the front hoop in place on top of the bumper. You can purchase the bumper and winch plate that we use separately. When installing the kit it is recommended to use a Currie Anti-Rock Swaybar in place of the factory unit. The kit includes one TJ/YJ grill hoop, two brace tubes, and one front hoop. The grill hoop and front hoop are made from 1 3/4" x .120" wall DOM tube and the two brace tubes are 1 1/2" x .120" wall DOM tube. This kit requires that you have cut fenders or tube fenders.  This kit will not work with a body lift.
